On television and other adventures...

At the desk, 8:25 a.m.

Yesterday, the television people came to talk about bees. They arrived at 5:15 a.m. and left a little before 10 a.m. After three full days of getting the yard and house ready for them, I fell over. Rose and I slept most of the afternoon away.

Of course, none of it would have happened it the husband hadn't worked so hard to make it all go and then stood around facilitating. Plied with plenty of mead, funny guy Dan Daru and the awesome cameraman Cody hung out, laughed, and did a little television magic.

Here's the first segment where we talk about what to do if your child gets a bee sting - particularly important for kids under 35 pounds.

In this segment, we take a very, very brief look inside the hive. We look at a honey frame covered in bees:

This is a bit of a longer segment where we were even blessed to have Addy and Lula, my fabulous beehelper girls, come from next door to help out with the honey.

If you have any questions about bees, let me know - I hope you enjoy these short little videos.
