What can I do? I can love.

At the desk, 9:43 a.m.

I woke up last night with much distress and despair.

What can I do?

I can love.

I found out this morning what had happened and wrote this post. But you don't need me to point out the obvious. You don't need me to reflect my own horror and upset that this is happening again. Everyone around the world is doing that right now.

What can I do? That's the question I was put here to answer.

You can love.

"Love is what I am, what I give, and what I receive."

This is the centering thought for the Chopra Center's free 21 day meditation Challenge on love for today.

For me, it always comes back to:

Hate breeds hate.

Love destroys hate.

What can you do when you see the war, struggle, and strife in this world?

You can love.

What can I do?

I can love.

I'm not going to waste our time trying convince you of something you instinctively know is true. I not going to site research studies, scanning evidence, or even my personal experience with honeybees.

I'm going to remind you of what you already know.

Love is the most powerful force in this world.

What can you do?

You can love.
