The Most Astounding Fact...

At the desk, 7:50 a.m.

The most astounding fact in my life is that I'm here.

I don't know if I 'should' be here. I don't know that I 'deserve' to be here. I'm not even all that certain how I managed to get here.

I only know that, when things were at there very worst, I believed in here, this day, this place, and the bounty of peace accorded to me in this day.

Today, I get to experience the universe is within me and you. Today, I get to do what I was born to do (tell stories about good people overcoming difficult times). Today I get to be here.

The most astounding fact is that I'm here.
