At the desk, 8:20 a.m.
Today is my 15th wedding anniversary.
In the fifteen years, there have been a lot of hills and valleys. We suffered real trauma and great triumphs. We've built businesses together and pulled them apart. We had our fair share of emotional, mental, physical and financial anguish. We've planted gardens, fixed up dilapidated houses, tended to ill relatives and friends, shoveled snow, cared for others, donated money and time, volunteered to help, worked late in the night only to get up early to start all over again, and mostly laughed, talked and loved our way through it all.
And we're still walking step by step together.
I've accomplished a lot in this life. I hope to accomplish a lot more. You can rest assured that for everything I've accomplished, my husband has been at the center of every project - leading, talking, deal making, encouraging, brainstorming, doing the hard work, and laughing (usually at me).
The accomplishment I cherish the most is the fifteen years with the husband. It's just been cool.
Here's to another 15 years! :)
