This is a new (11/08) meme for Tuesdays. The goal is to keep kindness on our blogs and in our minds.  Please join me in reminding the world of the simple power of kindness.

Simply Kind Tuesdays

1. Write about kindness on Tuesdays.
   • You may write an entire post about kindness
   • You may include kindness in your posts.  Even one line will do!
2. Outside of kindness, there is no specified topic. You can talk about the kind acts you are doing, something you saw in the paper, kindness in general, or….
3. The goal of Simply Kind Tuesdays increase awareness of the kindness that surrounds us.
4. To join this challenge, simply grab a Simply Kind Tuesday Banner and add your n ame to the Mr. Llinky at the bottom of this post.

    God knows my heart so well. When I walked into the grocery store, I wandered around for a second by the produce; trying to think if there was anything that I needed there. My eyes searched the oranges, the grapes, the tomatoes…nope…no…nah…and then I felt someone watching me. I looked up and I saw him. A tiny little boy all of two years old, being pushed in a cart by Grandma. He was watching me and when he saw that I looked at him, he smiled ear to ear and waved with all of his heart at me. Grandma didn’t even notice, but I certainly did. This was a moment, a gift for me, the icing on the cake, the cherry on top of the ice cream. God knew. I burst out with a giggle and returned the great big smile and wave. All the more, the warmth of love flowed between us. What a sweet moment that was for me, a precious gift indeed.
