This video is the best, most balanced version of this story that I’ve ever seen. The video is funny, interesting, and not preachy - just educational. Mark Bittman also goes through a fascinating history of food in America.

Hey don’t miss this. Nine Inch Nails has released the first single “Discipline” from it’s upcoming album. You can get the MP3 via their website for free.
And it’s actually pretty good - reminiscent of old NIN and ancient Michael Hutchins INXS.

I hate the BMI. Here’s why - the more fit you become, the higher your BMI. There is no link between a high BMI and long term health risks. None. Yet lazy doctors and insurance companies go strictly by the BMI - it’s ridiculous.

Every August the universe puts on it’s very own show called the Perseid meteor shower. This meteor shower is spectacular. You will see shooting stars, flashes of light, and other phenomena that might keep Mulder and Scully running around with flashlights.
