This is an inate portion of being, this whole kindness to al. Unfortunately we have unlearned how to be kind to others as a first response and have done all we can to change that character trait within us. We can keep it though simply by not trying to be kind but incorporating it like a good habit.

I agree with you that we've unlearned how to be kind to each other. I think our current cultural climate of "GIVE ME THE MONEY NOW!" lends itself to thinking kindness and relating are stupid or a waste of time. It's sad but true. My hope is that this will change. We'll see.
