When you want it as much as you want to breathe.

"You won't be successful until you want it as bad as you want to breathe."

For most of my life, I've had asthma. I didn't know I had asthma. I thought everyone was like me. I was forty when I found out I had asthma.

This year, for some unknown reason, my asthma is mostly gone. I don't know why. My doctor doesn't know why. But one day, I woke up; had my usual my bronchial spasm; and no asthma came.

In response to misplacing my asthma, I started taking spin classes. At least twice in every spin class, when I'm sucking air, my bronchia spasm.

I expect asthma.

I get in position with my head down, my neck relaxed, my throat open, my chest straight and...

It doesn't come.

I laughed. Every time. And get back into the class.

How badly do you want it?
