The Queen of Cool

I’ve been invited to write a new serial fiction for the She is Dallas website called The Queen of Cool. This serial is set in Fort Worth,  Texas.

Here’s a brief rundown of the fact of the Queen of Cool:

• The serial follows the life of Lorraine “Lo” Downs.
• Lo is a successful fitness model. She’s won Ms. Fitness Olympia for the last three years.
• She was married at fifteen to Don Downs.
• The story begins on the day of Don’s funeral.
• There are a number of quirky characters and odd events (of course) as Lo tries to regain her footing after Don’s death.

The serial will be published Monday through Saturday, two chapters a month. We will publish the chapters at The Queen of Cool and Stories by Claudia two weeks after they appear at She is Dallas. You can subscribe to the Queen of Cool chapters by Email.
