I received these photographs in my email box this morning. They reminded me that the strange, unusual and beautiful belong to this world. The email says these are rare albino moose. However, Snopes.com says that they are white moose, rare, but not unheard of. The photos were taken by the side of the road in just No. of the Wisconsin border.
Whatever your holiday tradition, I hope you get a chance to celebrate the strange, wild beauty of this life and this world. For all it’s bizarre nature, we are blessed beyond measure.

My cousin in Maine sends me pictures of white moose every winter – apparently they can be seen there, too. Or else the ones near Wisconsin travel a lot.
