There was a time….

There was a time when I was a lot happier than I have been in the last month or so. I would get up every morning, write a blog post, visit my friend’s blogs to say ‘hello’ then writing stories or novels or whatever caught my fancy.

I didn’t worry about websites.

I didn’t worry about publicity.

I didn’t think about who needed this or that from me.

I never thought about bookstores or distribution or re-copy editing or next publication dates or  ….

You get the picture.

I find myself exhausted and fighting a twenty year old neck injury. That’s why I posted the Ted video’s yesterday. The second video really spoke to me.

It’s time to return to what I enjoyed – writing stories, visiting blogs, writing quirky blogs, saying ‘hello’ to friends. If you stop by today, please leave your blog address. I’d love to see you again, but I’ve lost track of some of your weblog addresses.

I apologize to anyone I’ve offended in my flurry of busyness. I hope I will be welcomed back with open arms.

You’ll always be welcome where I am Claudia. Please take your time. I’m studying for an exam on the 26th and won’t be doing much until then. Take it easy and rest up.

    “Life”.

It happens to the best of us.

Worry not. We’ll still be there, Ms. Claudia …..

Sometimes life just gets away from us. I know it did me. Did you see a comment I left somewhere (I can’t remember where) about your book? I can’t believe I didn’t come back here and tell you A)Thanks and B)How awesome, awesome, awesome that book is. It grabbed me and did not let me go. What talent you have. Do you have plans for more Fey books? Cuz I would love some more.

I am having a little down time (flat on my back due to a back problem), but as soon as I am semi-mobile we need to talk about the bee keeper apron idea (which is a great one, thanks)

I know I go through cycles of various levels of crazy around here.

I hope you find your favorite level of crazy!

It seems like a lot of people are in crazy places in their lives. Change is definitely in the air these days – and change can be good.

If you just keep putting one foot in front of the other (or one word after another) you’ll find your way :)

See this? This comment written four days after this post was written? Yep. I totally get it. You are welcome in my life on my blog whenever you have time, whether it’s daily or when you have five seconds to touch down!
