The first two lines are so true, but the third line…not so much. You can’t always change your mind. Sometimes doors close and you need to find a new one to use.
I too don’t agree with the last line. Once you make a choice, just live with it and don’t complain about what might have been. Happiness is in contentment. Great picture!

I can see both sides of the argument here, but it does remind me of the end of a Waterboys song…. “everybody’s born to do a certain thing…and if you’re good at it, just keep doing it. Until you’re fed up, then do something else…”
Perpstu – While true, some decisions are permanent (children for example), I think we can always change our mind – meaning attitude. Ok, that’s a bit of a trick!
Squirrelly – I read a study that said that people are happier if they believe their choices are permanent – they are less likely to feel discontent.
Claudia – Ok, that’s wonderful – we are destined to one thing until we hate it? Bravo
