So, in their own ways, are black and white. What you want to do is see reds and blues and yellows. And greens! Those colors were gone from my life for many, many, (many!) years, so I understand completely. Little by little the colors will come back, at first softly muted, and then vibrant. In other words, we believe in our dream, our hopes, whatever, in spite of all indications that we'll never achieve our dreams, are foolish to hope and the world seems to be falling apart around us. But when we look back, we see how every step, every hurt and every experience brought us to success.
