Outside a McCain “town meeting” in Denver, my friend Molly’s mother, Carol Kreck, held a sign that said: McCain = Bush. She was ticketed, escorted from the property and given a court date. Click here to see the video:
A defense fund has been set up to help her fight this bogus charge. Help if you can.
Personally, I’m not sure what’s more unbelievable :
- the ticket and court date,
- or the cute Denver Police. (Denver Police average about 60 extra donut pounds.)

- Secret Service “emphatically denies” any involvement.
- “A representative of Senator John McCain’s staff respectfully asked that the venue for its July 7 Town Hall Meeting, The Denver Center for the Performing Arts, not allow persons to display signage within the Arts Complex,” DCPA officials said in a statement.

McCain=Bush could not be truer in that removing protesters from his eminences eyes has been of paramount value to the MSM which then do not have to show them. What Denver did not have a fenced off place 1 mile from the venue for them who do not agree with the candidate?
Wow, how is that even legal? If police reasonably believe that a demonstration of any kind may result in serious public disorder, serious damage to property, serious disruption to the life of the community, or intimidation. I seriously doubt this woman should be considered any of those things.
Why don’t they pick on someone their own size????

Happy Campers – I’m glad you asked that question. It’s actually the McCain campaign that instructed their Secret Service officers to get rid of anyone they thought didn’t represent their message. Further, when McCain found out about this he moved his mouth – but DID NOTHING. That’s not the Denver Police – that’s McCain. I judge a man by his actions – or lack there of – when he sees an injustice. Clearly, McCain is following in Nixon’s footsteps.

Dr. John – Actually, McCain asked for this to happen. Further, when he found out he has done nothing. Haven’t we really had enough of “it’s not my fault” politicians? Nixon didn’t know about Watergate. Reagen didn’t know about Drugs for Guns (Contragate) or for that matter the LARGE cash that went to the Iranians to hold the hostages until he was inaugurated. Is it acceptable in 2008 for a politician to run a campaign on zero responsibility?? After seeing McCain’s response I think the sign should say McCain = Nixon.
