Dear family and family in-law,

Dear family and family in-law,

It has come to my attention that you like to complain about what is said on this blog.? In order to set things straight, here are the blog rules:

If you have something to say about this blog, leave a comment.? Send an email. Spit it out – say what you need to say.

Otherwise, please know that the On A Limb community (Claudia in particular) ignores your sniping.

I am happy that you have the courage to speak your feelings.

Second week of group therapy went well for me last night, I’m learning how to validate my feelings, with out judging, looks like you’ve already mastered this feat!

They could start their own blog called the Anti Limb…but then they’d probably start getting flamed by the AoA (Amputees of America).

my in-laws read my blog too. and i’ve learned that it’s because they miss me (i’m in mid-divorce).

petty stuff gets in the way of loving too often. in-laws, be good to claudia, she sent me seeds to plant with my kids this summer. she sent me honey. she is good people.

This is so obviously the way to go I can’t think why I haven’t thought of it. Instead whenever someone I know finds the blog I stop writing about them. I have started to wonder about changing identity.

And that, in a nutshell, is why my family (not to mention most of my real life friends) have not been told that I have a blog.

TWMark – Yes, the truth and a few rules.

Janeywan – I’m glad you are going to group – it’s a great experience.

Ian – Oohhh you are so creative! :)

    Ivanhoe – YAY!

Furious Ball – I only wish my in-laws thought that highly of me….

Moobs – You’re the oldest child, dude. Set a rule. Make it happen! It’s your blog – your life!

    Odat – YAY!! ;)

Robin – You are so much wiser than I.

Susan Helene Gottfried – Oh, sorry. You want them to, and I wish they’d shut up about it.

Blog on sister! I do have family that reads mine…I have often wondered if that is a good thing or bad thing.

You are so awesome! I wanna be like you. (Seriously, I’m not being sarcastic.) My to-be in-laws get to me sometimes…

The only family that reads mine is my mother and she forgets about it half the time. I told her in the very beginning that I wanted to give her the address but was scared. She promised never to talk about it negatively and she hasn’t yet. *whew*

Amen! I need to post this on my blog. I have been censoring my blogging considerably over the past two weeks because now that I’m in town, my family has begun reading my blog in earnest. They even give me suggestions about what to write or not write and want me to take down certain posts. Driving me crazy!

    Uh oh.

Claudia’s blog is a no-snipe zone, people. Didn’t you understand that?

WOW……….good to know several are in the same boat……am feeling quite stifled right now to a point where I am thinking of moving elsewhere…….there are many topics i wish i could write about, but can’t. Lots of topics seem to be out of bounds blogwise…….on the home and work front. I started out anon, but that didn’t last long. I have to be careful what I write about on the work/politics front too because i’m in the public sector. AND I LOVE writing political commentary.

best get another job……………so I can blog more freely.
