After checking the weather report four times, I spent most of the weekend planting my seedlings, seeds and tender veggie plants. My vegetable garden in under way!? Hurray!
Would you like to see it?
What’s this, Claudia?
Oops. Turns out the weather report was delayed last weekend. New weather report as of Monday morning? FREEZING temperatures tonight and the THREE inches of snow due tomorrow.
Sigh.

OMG That stinks, not only for your plants, but for you! Poor Claudia and her garden!
Maybe you can get D to blow some hot air on it…? hehe
The weather is being crazy! Nice garden sleeping bags. =o)
So they will be frozen vegetables. I hear they retain more of their nutrients that way.
OG too bad it does no good to rage against the storm eh?
Peace

everybody is getting these cold snaps, this is BS mother nature, get your crap together
three inches? But it’s May? Nearly mid-may! And and…it’s supposed to be warming up!! Snow?? Noooo…your veggies need some warmth!! I hope that the ground covers help.
Oh my, Claudia! It’s chilli here, too. But not that chilli! And snow, too? I hope you veggies will make it.
Claudia, who did you kill???
Kelly – Hey, now that’s an idea….
Christy – They do look like sleeping bags – Great observation – let’s hope they work!
Fabbie – I’ve heard that too.
TWM – Too true.
FuriousBall – Thanks, I needed that.
Claudia – I know. May snow brings…. dead plants? Let’s hope not.
Ivanhoe – Yes, a cold “snap”. Only time will tell on the veggies – but thanks.
Janet – Rules of living: if you ever kill someone? Never tell a living soul. Oops, I guess I just….
um EW!!!!! i’m so over cold weather. it was in the 30s this am. what kind of fake may is this b/c i want THE REAL MAY!!!
Aw, Claudia, that’s too bad! It’s the same here, though. Rain, rain, wind, cold, brrrrr. Usually by this time of the year I have had at least one suburn!
What’s going on???
I do hope your garden recovers….they do look nice and warm.
I wonder if your storm is the one that passed through her last night. It didn’t snow, but it was horrible thunder and rain. There are thousands without power this morning.
Jameil – Me too! Me too! Let’s order some of that up!
Josie – I wish I knew. I think it’s very strange – we have more rain tomorrow and more cold next week. The weather patterns do seems to be shifting.
Tommie – Oh I bet that storm did go through. It was horribly windy and thunder – very dramatic – that’s why the rocks are on the sheets. I will uncover today.
That looks like a sleeping bag slumber party weighed down for a windy night.
OH NO. Please tell me the forecast was wrong…
