I was tagged by Michael at Wonderful world of nothing worthwhile to write use six words to describe me.
I love flash fiction and particularly six word stories. This story (Very short stories), in particular, reinforced Strunk and White’s valuable lesson: 17. Omit Needless Words.

Thursday Thirteen #23 – Six measly words
Because I love these stories so much, I thought I would share some of my favorites.
- Gown removed carelessly. Head, less so.

Thank you for your kind words on my blog concerning my grandma.
I like #3.
That’s a TT with a difference! Very clever.
Six words per story; great post!
These are fun! Makes me want to try some myself. Let’s see… How about…
Whodunnit? Him? Her? Oh no! It’s….!
6 words that describe me:
obsessive bitch shoe-aholic bitch shopping bitch
does that count?
SJR
The Pink Flamingo
These are all fun. As I read down the list,I decided each new one was my favorite. Too good!
dragon skin?
hahahaha #12! hahahha!
Chelle Y – I am sorry for your loss.
Nicholas – What would your story be??
Mom Huebert – That’s great! Are there 6 words that describe you?
SJ Reidhead – I laughed out loud to your. Yes, that’s perfect! lol! And we love you for it!
SandyCarlson – I had trouble choosing myself.
FuriousBall – Once one has entered the warm heart, the skin is softer.
6 words?
Janet – I thought so too!
Can’t say anything in six words
You are clever. This is a challenge I might like to try. You are very good at this!
what a great idea! I’ve never heard of 6 word stories — that was great — some of them are priceless!!
Six words huh? Complex woman with 2 complex kids seeks
yes…that’s it — I don’t know what I seek!!!
Apparently I seek an accountant because I can’t count!!
lol!!
#10 is my favorite. But they’re all so impressive. Thanks for posting them, and for your own six-word description.
My six words would be:
Safe harbor. Sturdy shoulder. Big laugh.
Heart in SF – Now that’s perfect! Well done!! Really well done!
SusieJ – I’d love to see what you come up with! Link back so I’ll know or leave it in the comments.
Lara – How about we say “with” is not a word? I’ll buy that!
Thanks for playing!
Julia – Very nicely done – and true, I bet.
Rockne S. O’Bannon: Genius Among Us.
Heh, I’ve been watching the 80′s version of The Twilight Zone, his name gets a lot of mentions!
You definitely have a way with words!
I saw this in a magazine the other day. Brilliant idea, really!! Mine would be..
work in progress. Moving right along.
Courtney – Very nice! I love any Twilight Zone reference!
TriathleteDad – that’s 7 but I did say that “with” doesn’t count!
Claudia – Very nice. yes, I would agree with yours.
Hi Claudia! Thanks for stopping by my place this week. What a fun list; I’m particularly fon of Atwood’s. Gotta tell you though – your 6 word story was the best!
#12 was my favorite. Except for your self description. I’m a middle child myself, and I know that both the warm heart and the dragon skin come with the territory! My six word story would be — “well, I thought it was funny.” (Thanks for visiting my TT)
I have tried for several minutes to describe myself in 6 words and I can’t! Great job!
I did this recently: Tuesday Update: six word story…I married. Two kids. Military wife
Oh gosh – I LOVE #7 and #12. #10 is kinda funny too, but then I have a perverted sense of humor.
I’ll have to think one up for me…
Know what I really think? Nah…
Smiles,
Holly

oops, hit enter too quickly…
dragon skin…as in thick skinned? Great six words.
Great list….Happy TT.
I love these too, I wish I were that clever, hey , that was 6 words, does it count?
I think Joss’ is my favorite from your list!
DK – Ah shucks…..
The Gal Herself – That’s excellent! Well done! I should post them….
Happy Housewife – You’ll probably come up with something in the middle of the night.
Holly – I thought #10 was very funny. I almost missed yours – very well done!
Tommie – Of course, you are brilliant! I loved your photos – especially your wedding picture! Dragon skin is like tough skinned. I don’t really care what people think of me, unless I care about them. Then that’s very hard and painful. Get past the skin and you’re a friend for life. That’s what Dragon skin means to me.
Lori – Cheers.
Shaunesay – I think it counts! Well done!
Calico cat writes lots of reviews.
Happy TT.
Awesome post. My 6 words?
I came. I saw. I’m conquering.
Happy TT!
Need pool boy. No pool required.
Tired mom. Needs sleep. Soon please.
Puss Reboots – Yay! That’s very true!
Morgan – Yes, indeed and this was a land of conquering. Well done!
Ann Bruce – You are hilarious! Foxy pool boy no doubt!
Nice job!
Natalie – I bet! Great words!
Tell us how you really feel!
Imagining Marcus. Furiously typing. Rolling eyes.
I love those six word stories. Some of them really say so much about the authors, as does yours, Claudia. Great attitude!
Be sure to stop by and get a piece of cake!
Happy TT!

Oh fun. Hmm…six words.
Nightowl. Pale complexion. Needs a tan.
I love 10, 11 and 12!
Here’s one from me: Foot hurts, to doctor I go.
Some great ones there. Thoroughly enjoyable.
I don’t believe in worshiping mere humans but I am in awe of Joss Whedon’s economy of words in his writing and your quote demonstrates that again. What a fun post. I really enjoyed reading all of it.
Here’s my 6 word story;
“Photos prove I was skinny once”.
*whew* I did this a little while ago, so I don’t have to actually think. Here’s mine:
Meant to do better; got lucky.
Okay, this is the one about me.
Hmm. Hard Thinking Idea Girl Grins.
Hm… gosh… 6 words to describe me… “A dreamer. A realist. Total mess.” Hahaha!
I liked number nine the best!
Hugs and blessings,
Oh wow – those are so fun! I’ll have to think about mine, its too early for this, hehe.
Loving your creative TT’s Claudia!
I was tagged with something similar. I will have to put my thinking cap on…
my six:
Life’s too short not to sparkle
Dragon skin?
Easily forgotten. Sad eyes. Mourns spirit.
OMG ten is my favorite! hahaha
six words, eh?
Too crazy to describe self here
Adelle Lauden – very very nice! yay!
Winter – I think we are all imagining Marcus.
Kaige – Happy Birthday! Whoo hoo!!
Nicole Austin – I like that! I didn’t realize you were a night owl….
Robin – I hope your foot feels better! Gosh….
Anthony North – I liked them too!
Squirrelly – I think Joss’s story is a real story.
Darla – I do love recycling – good for you for doing it.
Brenda ND – I like your grins.
Tempest Knight – Gosh, I don’t think you’re a total mess!
Storyteller – I can’t tell if that’s your story…..
Jill – let us know when you wake up!
Fabbie – Go for it! I’ll look forward to seeing what you come up with.
Kay – Very nice – and very true!
Christy – I’ve never forgotten you!
Kelly – I like that one too! Crazy? you? pleeezzz.
This is fun! I did this, but it wasn’t in a sentence form.
The one I did on my blog was: fun, bloggy, dog lover, caregiver, supporter, teacher. Let me think up one for here.
I am still confused about memoirs!
You can check mine out

Have a great day!
Optimistic Dreamer Who Hopes to Succeed
Here’s mine:
Found her true love in Italy.
How do you spell the drug Rosie takes? I tried to search Adequel and couldn’t find anything. I am always researching dog stuff-lol!
Chad, you are not the father.
I’m too complex for six words.
Uhh, that’d be from Trevor, not me…. And yes, he has other women. Lots of them. Sorry, babe. But really, are you surprised?
I love this! Mine, off the top of my head: Nutty professor mixing words in lab.
Signed, Mountain Sexy.
I guess I gave you a story before and not a summary of myself. Okay, here it is:
Short and sweet, but sometimes not.
Oh, by the way, you asked me on my blog if Celtic Christianity is a random interest or a passion with me. Well, I think it’s probably a random passion. That is, it’s something new I’ve discovered, and I’m passionate about it right now, trying to learn all I can. Once I’ve gleaned from it what I can use, I’ll probably move on to something new.
Once again, learning from random passions.
Love the post! Let’s see if I can describe myself.
Working Mother. Romance Writer. Deep Thinker.
How’s that? LOL!
words that describe me right now . . .
tired. stinky. overwhelmed. unmotivated. still grateful.
Mercedes – I like yours! I left this on your blog – Adequan I miss spelled it in my comment – sorry.
Ms. Menozzi – Yes indeed – that does describe you.
She – Ok – is that a story or something that defines you? Well done either way.
Susan Helen Gottfried – I’m heart broken. simply heart broken.
Colleen – Ahahaha. I have an image of Meg’s mom from a Wrinkle in Time.
Mom Huebert – That’s a great story – Good luck with your random passion. It’s interesting stuff.
Leslie Dickens – Nice, Very nice!
Sarah in Disturbia – While I’m sorry those are the words that describe you, I think your story is awesome.
7 words but ogden nash’s reflections on ice breaking: “candy is dandy but liquor is quicker.’ that’s an old college fave.
my 6: exercise your fabulosity. who else will?
that should be my blog header, huh?
Wow! These are pretty good. Mine would be something like this: Moved to start life, now living.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Umm…six words to describe me? Let’s see…
Romance writer, cat, music, kid lover.
Not eloquent but apt.
Every single one had my giggling. I can’t even pick a favorite. Best TT I have read all day!
Six words that describe me. Hmmmm.
Protective, fiery, creative, wannabe lottery winner.
Kids driving me to drink.
Right now…goin’ with
“much to learn, so little time”
See? I forgot how to count.
Claudia, my own six-word memoir which I put up on my blog a while ago is “A life is in the aging.”
Jameil – I think that would make a fabulous header!
Ivanhoe – Yes indeed – yours is very very true!
Ashley Ladd – That’s very well done too!
Vixen – I feel the same way – sometimes I really like one, then other times… I like your description! Well done.
Nap Warden – I can sooo relate to that one!
Laura – I’m counting both. Well done!
Mary/the Teach – Very nice! Yes, indeed. Life is in the aging!
You did this SO much better than I did!!!!
Ohh…neat idea and thanks for visiting my TT! I’m glad you enjoyed the NOLA pics, and I am proud of my hard work
I built beautiful porch roofs!!
Here’s mine:
Montessori minded mission worker ceiling builder….haha!
Romantic soul, craves creativity and variety.
I don’t KNOW. Leave me alone. ;p
Btw, you have a BAZILLION COMMENTS!!! Popular Claudia!
All comments too brilliant. I’ll pass.
Michael C – That’s because you didn’t go with your heart – “more meat, more cheese, please.” That was your gold!
Bethany – Gosh, I wouldn’t want to say that 3 times fast! lol!
Jill – I’m glad you stopped back – well done! I like the interaction – it’s fun!
Josie – Ok, that’s 6 words. I’m counting it!
That was a great T13 Claudia!
Hope you are well.
Oh these were so much fun to read! I’m no good at this kind of stuff, but I loved reading these.
No Nonsense Girl – Cheers!
Melanie – I enjoy them very much as well!
I love #3. I admire the ability to get 3 sentences out of 6 words…
I love this meme. Mine is:
Waking daily to live my dream
HRH – Wow – that’s a wonderful sentence – thanks.
