I remember way back in high school, after taking some aptitude test, the guidance counselor told us it was a guideline to show what we might be good at, but that it wasn't set in stone. The important thing was the desire. She said you could take two people, having one score low but have the drive (passion), and the other have a high score but no drive, and the person with the lower score would do better in that field because of the desire to keep going. Hurray for doing each of these. I think writing requires that we create our own discrete accomplishments.
