So, I met this woman recently.
Now, she is not a nice woman. In fact, she’s more like a 10 year old bully in a woman’s body. Ew.
Here’s the problem: She and I own the same clothing.
I flatter myself by saying that I look a lot better in those clothes (camisole and yoga pants) but who knows?
I am horror struck by the copious rolls of fat that she displays in our shared clothing.
I mean, do I look like that?
I’ve been working on my “decrease the percent fat” project and actually lost around 4% fat (at last measure).? My rolls of fat are diminishing. Yippee!!
But…
How do I figure out if I look that… uh… bulbous in the same outfit?
Any advice?
You don’t.
This not nice 10-year old bully in woman’s clothing was sold the outfit by mistake, but the designer really had YOU in mind.
I hope this helps.
sometimes i see someone dressed like me or that i think resembles me. pretty frightening.
i ask myself (and often ask my hubby as well) if i look as ‘bad as all that’. he (usually) says no.
i rest easy for a day or so….
take a photograph of yourself in the outfit.
picture worth a thousand words (?).
Bulbous?
Heart in Sf – Well…. I hope that true because the sight is pretty frightening.
Baffle – Good idea. I’ll try it. I asked D. and he said, “no” but you know, he was probably being nice.
Mr. Fab – Yeah. Bulbous: 1) growing from or bearing bulbs (which fits), or 2) resembling a bulb particularly in roundness. (Merriam-Webster)
I’m sure you know that you look better….Now feel it!!! That’s an order!
Peace
You definitely don’t. Consider yourself a good example – maybe this woman should be concerned, but she isn’t.
Odat – Yes ma’am. I always get scared by that NYC accent….
Rileyberry – You mean SHE has the Glamour magazine slash over her eyes? not me? PHEW!
Hmmm…lure her in front of a mirror while you are wearing the same outfit. Compare and contrast.
And I’m sure you look awesome. How dare she steal your style.
Samantha K – It is a good plan – if done sneakily…. hmmm…. the more I think about it the more I like the way you think.
