Lifestyles of the…

I recently discovered Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous by Good Charlotte. It has the awesome lyric:
“If money is such a problem, they’ve got mansions, think we should rob them.”
The video is a crack up too.
Of course, a certain celebrity is now out of rehab and wants her privacy.
I know I’ve said I feel sorry for her. But now I think:
“Let’s give her what she wants.”
It’s time to ignore her. I promise not to read about her, speak about her or write about her.
Maybe she’ll stop complaining….

I’ll second that though I do feel sorry for her…
On the same subject have you heard about the press hounding of Prince William’s girlfriend? Surely must make her wonder if the crown’s worth it..
Angela
Angela - It’s unbelievable what is happening to that girl. It’s hard to imagine that anyone would sign up for that. Especially when he’s saying he’s not going to marry her for a while.
Seeing what happened to Princess Di must give her pause for thought..
I’ve never bought a magazine for gossip in my life. Who buys this stuff? Who reads this stuff?
Time for legislation, methinks.
Angela
Angela - I would guess that there will be legislation on this soon. The problem is that there are hundreds of thousands of people who would happily trade their annonymity to become a “star”. If that’s the case, then why change the vultures that prey on them?
I must admit my neighbour was a casting agent and kept trying to have my daughter in certain productions of films since she was an infant and I have always said ‘no’ as I do not think that Britney is an exception but the rule…
My daughter is nine and the apple of our eye… But I would not want any type of attention drawn to her like that…
I would not wish it on nayone…but especially someone I love.
P.s. Ms Claudia, would it be okay if I added you to my blogroll?
Pendullum - Yes, yes, you are absolutely right. This is about parenting. I think that about the Hiltons. Good parents don’t have kids that do stuff like that. Just a thought. I’d be honored to be on your blogroll. I’ll add yours as well.
