Grass.

I actually saw some grass today.
I know.? Some of you see grass every day.? But here in Denver, it’s noteworthy.? There’s still five foot drifts in the front? yard and an even layer of two feet of snow in the park.

I just thought you’d like to know.

Every little sign of spring is encouraging amid all the snow drifts. Soon the birds will sing and the sun will shine…Think Spring!!! It is not far away!

Eventhough we have great weather, the green grass is a rarity. Especially in the summer. Everything around here dies in the summer.

I’ll send some warm thoughts and sunshine your way.

Bebe – Such a positive thought… sadly it’s supposed to snow all weekend.

Nila – That’s true here as well. The grass is only green mid-spring and in the fall. I guess that’s life in the desert – or they used to call this a desert. With all this snow, who knows?
