Raise your hands for the middle child.

Michael Myers is a Bronco defensive tackle and a middle child of seven.  (HIGH FIVE MICHAEL!)  In today’s Denver Post, he is quoted as saying:

“I’m the interior guy who’s more like the quiet storm.  You don’t see me and you don’t hear me, but I’m doing the work.  A quiet storm.”

Happy New Years!  May all your days be blessed and all the quiet storms in your life appreciated.

  3. Pete - High five brother! I knew I liked you!

Pendullum - Ah the eldest… It’s always nice to have you guys around even if you are misunderstood and have too much responsibility. We love you anyway!

  4. Another eldest here which explains my great sensitivity and caring nature :-)
    Happy New Year,
    Angela

  5. Good grief…I have a middle child and she is definitely NOT quiet. She IS a storm though: a force ten gale; a hurricane. You see her, you hear her, you try your best to run away from her…but there’s no hiding from Mademoiselle Middlechild…

    Ooops. Better go…here she comes…

    Happy New Year everyone!

  6. Angela - It is true that you have great sensitivity and caring. I didn’t know they were related to eldest childhood….

Gigi - That’s hilarious and definitely not typical.

  7. Hi Claudia,
I believe the caring part is part of being the eldest along with being responsible.
Sensitive: I might have made that up:-)
    Thanks for the compliment.
I was just reading that Colorado’s getting food drops. How are you doing there?
    Angela

  8. Angela - We’re actually OK. The food drops are for animals and people who live in remote rural regions. The city is a complete mess and it’s hard to get around - which means that the stores are short on supplies - but we are really fine. Thanks for caring - and being so sensitive! ;)
