Still snowing…
Posted on December 29th, 2006 by On a Limb w/ Claudia
Last night, we decided to head out into the snow. We walked to our local Mexican eatery around 6 p.m.

We were waited on by Paul, who served us a Margaritas and dinner.

We walked home in the Blizzard.

Our street looked like:

And D. shoveled snow.

This morning the view from the window is:

And it’s still snowing.

It certainly is a winter wonderland…the pic of all the snowflakes is so graphic…I can almost feel the cold snowflakes against my face. You were brave to venture out but I bet it was a real memory maker. Stay warm and think spring!
“Think Spring” I like that.
I read on the news about the snowfall but it doesn’t prepare you for the reality of the photos. Amazing.
Is this unusual? I mean are you equipped for this? Can you get out because I know last year when we had about 2 inches of snow I couldn’t get up the hill.
One thing though: it’s very beautiful.
A very happy New Year to you and your family,
Angela
Bebe - Thanks for the warming thoughts. It’s going to be a while yet here. We were hoping to get out before we were stuck again.
Angela - Yes, this is very unusual and no, we aren’t equipped for it. Gratefully, it’s around the holidays and the city shuts down. We’ll see what happens next week.
margaritas and mexican food while it’s snowing outside, yeah that sounds great stuff!
Pete - Oh yes… and much better than being stuck for 3 days like before! Luckily we weren’t stuck at our mums house… I hope that’s OK.
Looks so cold, but so pretty. I’ll send some sun rays your way. We have plenty of those around these parts.
