Otherworldly Benefits
Des Moines, Iowa
Here’s an out-of-this-world reason you can’t be denied unemployment benefits in Des Moines, seeing ghosts on the job.
This issue ended up in court when security guard Wade Gallegos alerted his supervisor at Neighborhood Patrol in September that ghosts were haunting a neighborhood he was guarding.
The supervisor arrived at the scene and Gallegos showed him where the ghosts were still apparently standing. The supervisor claimed he saw nothing and fired Gallegos five hours later.
The company found no signs of drug use or alcohol.
When Gallegos applied for unemployment benefits, Neighborhood Patrol refused, arguing that he was guilty of misconduct.
This month, Judge G. Ken Renegar disagreed. While he acknowledged that “such beliefs do render the claimant unfit to act as a security guard” Renegar ruled that seeing ghosts is not the type of misconduct than can disqualify Gallegos from receiving benefits.
Here’s a link to the story in Mr. Gallegos’ home town.
A story like that requires ghost pictures! Here are the long awaited pictures from our ghost adventures in October.
We were instructed that “ghosts” are drawn to where people are, so we randomly took this picture through this doorway while we were eating dinner. These orbs appeared in the picture.

We don’t exactly know what these orbs are. Ghost hunters say that they are ghosts or used by ghosts as a way to get around. We could not see these with the naked eye. I have not edited this picture or the one to follow except to crop them and I only cropped them to cut the people (who might not like their picture on the internet) out of the pictures.
Here’s the scary one… This is a picture of an orb that we took in a room where two women were murdered. One of them was shot in the forehead. Can you see the face with the hole in the forehead in this orb?

Creepy!
