Don’t you? I snack on peanut butter on a Braeburn apple every day. I am a big fan of organic “natural” peanut butter. By this time of the day, it’s all runny and good! It’s the simple things in life that bring me joy!
It turns out that other people [...]

Our hiatus is over and we are in full production! As I write this, we are finalizing the interviews for our “Work” Audio Magazine. This looks like a great issue with the legendary Pat Croce, ultramarathoner and recent 300 mile runner Pam Reed, the inspirational Guy Finley, and venture capitalist Brad Feld discussing [...]

I have spent the last few days talking with representatives of a company that professes to support personal growth and the belief that everyone has a little bit of god inside them. Sounds great, eh?
Except in each of these interactions, I have really been treated poorly, talked down to, belittled and misunderstood. [...]

The Chicago Tribune just released this comprehensive story (Oreo, Obesity and Us) on the connection of food, addiction and obesity. Revolving around my favorite cookie, the Oreo, it shows not only the biological connection but also the enormous machine designed to sell these cookies. This is a wonderful, interesting article - check it [...]

Leaves changing on the [...]

There is so much conversation about “the buzz” created by an interesting new product, that I thought I would check out the other kind of buzz - why do bees buzz?
And now you know too!

Have you noticed that there isn’t much service in “customer service”? Over the last few months, I have been collecting stories from people about their awful customer service experiences. It started when I contacted our home insurance agent to ask why (for the third year in a row) they hadn’t sent an invoice [...]

As we are on hiatus, I spent the weekend watching movies and knitting. (Yes, yes, I knit. I am currently working on a cardigan for my sister.) Yesterday we watched the classic Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Arc. Ok, it was a trip down memory lane. On a [...]

I just received word from our buddy Steve Ela that their peach crop is just coming in. You can order them via their website at: www.elafamilyfarms.com or at the farmer’s markets around town. These are really nice people who grow fabulous peaches! Check it out!
