Open Grove Challenge (revisited)

It finally happened…. I was watching Rose near the lake and hear this sound…
“Good morning” in a masculine voice. I look up and the guy who is afraid of dogs and carries a big stick to keep them away, is standing there. This is the first time he has said anything to me in (literally) years of saying “Good Morning” to him.
I am so stunned that I am speechless. Rose looks up at him with that doggie “huh” look.
“Good morning”, I blurt out. He nods and continues walking as we stare at him in awe.
How is the challenge going for you?
