The Over-Zealous New Ager
I know, I know… Turn about is certainly fair play….
I went recently to get a massage. I was thinking - “Massage - good for my blood pressure. I am taking care of myself”. The massage was nice. The “spa” was beautiful. After my massage, I went out only to find this fake baked, bleached teeth man beeming at me. My massage therapist was there so I was talking with her and paying. This man introjects he says: “If you ever want to do sometihng holistic about your blood pressure you should talk to me”.
Clearly he doesn’t know about this weblog! I must have looked at him funny because he starts to explain what holistic means! TO ME!!
I would have laughed if I wasn’t so irritated that he read my intake form. In retrospect, I probably deserved it. I am sure said things equally arrogant things to people in my “holier than thow” efforts in the Open Grove. And I really can be a snot.
So turn about is certainly fair play. I just thought I would share! Hopefully I will remember this experience the next time I am being a snot….
